HR Data Collection

Variable working concepts and complex compensation models are continually increasing. For payroll processing, time recording systems deliver the basis for calculation. Additional payments such as overtime, weekend, holiday or shift work must also be taken into consideration. The effort to collect and process and administer these data, takes on increasingly greater dimensions.

Through the integrated data management of ORBIS MES, data is not only collected from HR-Time collection, but from operational data, from performance measurement systems as well as data from access control. All that data is brought together in the central SAP system. This considerably reduces the work effort both for the reporting as well as for the calculation and prevents input errors.

The HR-Time collection module of ORBIS MES accesses the personnel master data from SAP – a further system or separate maintenance of data in SAP is not required.

The HR Time collection module contains the following functions:

  • Complete integration in SAP HR
  • Recording of relevant time events (Arrival, exit, etc.) and access control
  • Support of automated identification procedures (e.g. card registration, identity cards)
  • Post-processing and correction functions
  • Attendance overviews and evaluations regarding time accounts
  • Use of available confirmations from PDC, machine data collection and quality management for compensation calculation
